Site Design
Family law is personal, and the design for this site had to reflect that. The homepage opens with a photo of the firm’s three named partners, not a stock image, giving visitors a real first look at the people who would be handling their case. Visitors know exactly who they’d be working with before they scroll past the hero.
The color palette pulls directly from the Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders logo, with deep navy paired against warm gold accents. Those gold tones show up in button outlines, underline details beneath section headings, and the star ratings on client testimonials, giving the site a polished, law-office feel without leaning cold or corporate.
Below the hero section, a strip of credential badges (AAML membership, Best Law Firms recognition, Super Lawyers, and more) gives new visitors an immediate signal of trust before they’ve read a single word of copy. That matters in family law, where clients are often making a high-stakes decision under stress.
The site’s core service areas, Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Post-Litigation, are broken into their own sections with alternating photography of attorneys at work: one meeting with a client at a desk, one gathered around a conference table, one reviewing documents. Each photo shows the actual team handling real cases in their Towson office.
A full-width testimonial section rounds things out, letting past clients speak to their experience in their own words. For a family law firm, few things build trust faster than hearing directly from someone who has been through the process.

Behind the design, our team built the site on a solid SEO foundation. Keyword research shaped how each practice area page (divorce, custody and visitation, child support, and more) is written, so the language matches how people in Baltimore County are actually searching when they need help. Metadata, alt text, and clean internal linking between practice areas were all part of the build, helping search engines understand the site and helping visitors find the specific page that matches their situation.
