New Website Launch: Bodie Law
Pink Dog Digital is proud to unveil a new website design for Bodie Law! Bodie is an AV-rated, midsized law firm that is the oldest in Baltimore County. They have been recognized in the legal community for their commitment to integrity and high-quality legal representation for their clients. They’ve built their reputation on their high personal and professional standards. We were very excited to design a website for Bodie that reflected their high standards and we hope you like the result as much as they did.
Design Cues
When it comes to website design, one of the chief areas of focus is the user experience. How easy is it for potential clients to find information on the site? Is it easy to navigate? Does the content answer client questions, and is it easy to read? We take these questions into consideration for every website we create, but it is especially important for a law firm like Bodie.
The home page sets the tone for the rest of the site. A simple navigation bar at the top and bottom of the page takes users directly to the most important pages on the site. Blue is the dominant color for accents, in keeping with the Bodie Law brand.
We used black and white pictures on the home page to communicate that stately, professional feeling in keeping with a law firm of stature. However, we used color photos for the “attorneys” page to humanize the people at the firm and make them more relatable to potential clients.
SEO
As we’ve mentioned in past blogs, the user experience is one critical component that makes good SEO. The search space for law firms in Baltimore is highly competitive, so great SEO is a necessity in order to be seen in search.
Pink Dog Digital utilizes all of the best SEO practices for every site we build. We use in-page techniques such as keyword usage, internal linking, schema markup, and other technical processes to make the page more attractive to the Google search algorithms. The content is authoritative and communicates value to the user – another important ranking factor. A news page can function in the same way as a blog – it provides an outlet for a business to make regular updates to their site, which is another important search engine ranking factor for Google.
Overall, we were really pleased with the finished product here, and we’re confident that it will help Bodie Law achieve their firm’s goals.
