Please excuse the profanity. But it says so much about my journey. Also, let me introduce my self. My name is Gina Ramsey and I own Pink Dog Digital, a full-service digital marketing agency. Most people would think that starting a business in such a competitive field would be completely insane. And that is what I thought when I hatched this idea. But as I began to float the idea to some close family and friends that phrase was the one constant that I heard. “It’s About F*#@ing time!” “You should have done this years ago!”
So here we are. If you know me you probably know why I did this. If you don’t, I will give you a little context. I had been working at a large digital marketing firm for 13 years. For the past year or two, I felt like something was missing. I felt like I was no longer in control. I was working a crazy number of hours and felt like a hamster on a treadmill. I was losing touch with my clients and referral partners. My activity was not productive and I was constantly stressed.
July 6, 2018, was my 13th anniversary with my previous company. I woke up and couldn’t do it any longer. I decided then and there that I was going to go it alone. I love working with my clients and helping them grow their business. But I wanted to do it my way. Individual client attention, excellent customer service, high-quality product, and results were what I wanted to provide my clients. So began the journey.
It wasn’t long before I had the team in place. David has been a friend for 15 or so years. I met Alan and instantly felt a kinship and wanted him to be a part of my team. These two keep me grounded and moving forward. Luke is my amazing writer. He can develop compelling content, write a blog that will get people noticed or wordsmith a client’s attempt at content development. Collectively my team has over 50 years of digital experience. My team is in place, ready to go!
